INTRODUCTION
Ornafish International is an activity of Aquadistri BV – The Netherlands.
Aquadistri is a main player in aquatics in Europe and for our customers the assurance for reliability and continuation. We are a solid company who has grown from a one-man operation into a multi company group active in many different countries.
THE START
Ornafish is founded in 1997, we didn’t start because there was market potential. The reason we started in Japan was that Aquadistri was dissatisfied with the improvements we made as far as quality, continuation and logistics were concerned. After dealing with different exporters they were not satisfied with the results. Ornafish has been developed from the customers point of view.
We tried to change the way koi was offered to dealers as much as possible towards their demands.

Our people in Japan are there for you. Being in Japan is important that’s why we have a permanent base in Ojiya the centre of the Japanese koi industry.

We are in Japan for our customers. In Japan our team is working with the breeders on a daily basis. However, the support from our head quarters in The Netherlands and our agents worldwide is of equal importance. Together with the breeders we work on quality. Not only the most beautiful fish, but healthy, on scheduled shipments, with professional logistics and with after sales and support. It works. Many, if fact more then we ever dreamed of when we started, dealers are our customers now. For them the “Ornafish way” is still the most convenient and reliable source for their koi.

We speak your language. Our team is multilingual, apart from the mandatory Japanese and English, we speak French, German, and Dutch. But also we speak your business language, we know the industry like no other and will assist you in every possible way. With true advice on health matters, marketing and during visits we will advice you on purchases if needed.
