2009-04-22 - Niigata Breeders Auction.

Today the Niigata Breeders auction took place at the Ojiya Gymnasium.
Early morning 10.00 AM the place was already filling up with potential buyers, taking a look at the koi before they were bagged, to see if there was anything interesting around.

At one of the pictures next to here we can see Taro Kataoka from Oya Koi Farm, as one of the auctioneers, presenting the current bids. Behind him we can see Katsunori Miyatora, Hajime Isa, Futoshi Mano (Dainichi) and Nogami san.

Most expensive Tosai of the day, was a 34 cm Isa Showa, sold for ¥510.000. Most expensive Nisai of the day, Dainichi Showa, ¥720.000.
