2009-10-12 - Exclusive deal Koshiji Koi Farm Tosai 2010

Today we visited Kase san from Koshiji Koi Farm in Katakai.
As at all breeders I first asked Kase San’s opinion about the Tosai harvest, the quality etc.
He was overall very happy with this years Tosai result, in fact he has some new varieties for next years Tosai sales.

1. Par Gin Rin Ochiba and Soragoi. This is a result of the close friendship between Kase San and Sekiguchi Koi Farm. Kase san bought 6 years ago Oyagoi (brood stock) from Sekiguchi Par Gin Rin, in order to establish a new variety of Par Gin Rin. He now worked 6 years on this new variety to get it stable, strong and healthy. As a result very nice “Glittering” Koi.
2. Gin Rin new Ginga. You all might have seen the more common Ginga, or Beni Ginga varieties before, but the one on the picture next to here shows the new GR Ginga variety.

I shortly thought about it, and after a short conversation with Kase San decided to buy both tanks, in order to offer them as an “Ornafish only” Variety for the 2010 Tosai Season.

These Koi will be available in a limited offer only up from February 2010.
