SALES CONDITIONS
On all transactions made with Ornafish (meaning Aquadistri BV trading as Ornafish International) the general terms and conditions of Aquadistri BV are applicable. A copy of these terms and conditions is included in our pricelist and will be sent to you upon request.

These additional sales conditions are an addition to the general terms and conditions mentioned above and will be applicable on all direct sales a.k.a. consol sales of fish from the country of origin. When ordering you confirm the abovementioned conditions to be applicable.
PAYMENT
Given the fact that we need to pay cash for any fish bought, we demand cash on delivery unless there is a written confirmation of a different agreement. New customers must prepay their order, the money must be visible on our account 7 days prior to the departure of the shipment.

DELIVERY
All prices mentioned in our pricelist are ex. works airport. Clearing and transport to the facility of the receiver must be arranged and paid for by the receiver.
CLAIMS & DEAD ON ARRIVAL
The receiver of fish is always responsible for proper stocking and treatment of the fish. In the event of any health problems the receiver is obliged to undertake all possible treatments to avoid losses without the need for Ornafish or her suppliers to give any compensation for either labour, treatments used etc. We are always available for free advice and supply medications whenever possible at cost.

D.O.A. (Dead on arrival) means all fish which are dead when opening the bags. In case of any d.o.a. please inform us within 24 hours after receipt of the shipment, state clearly: Kind of fish, size, breeder, qty, boxnr. etc.


Claims must be send by e-mail to r.devos@ornafish.com together with digital pictures of the mortalities. D.o.a. correctly claimed for will be considered and if accepted compensated for by means of a credit note.

Following conditions apply:
Claims must be send by E-mail or else by fax within 24 hours after receipt of the shipment.
If possible use our claim form, available on the download section of our website.
Fish claimed for must be kept frozen for at least 4 weeks. Ornafish reserves the right to collect these fish for research purposes.
In case of shipments from Thailand and Japan only the nett fish value will be compensated for, freight and additional costs are at risk of the receiver.
In case of shipments from Israel compensation can only been given when the supplier honours the claim.
When a given order is cancelled Ornafish reserves the right to bill the customer for 10% of the order value.

Any other claims then d.o.a. will be considered when send within 24 hours after receipt of the shipment any problem which will occur after the first 24 hours Ornafish cannot bear any responsibility.
