Rules and conditions for the charity internet auction:

Start Auction May 15th at 9 AM Japan Time / End Auction May 20th at 6 AM Japan Time.

Start Auction May 15th at 2 AM Central European Time / End Auction May 19th at 23 PM Central European Time

1. Go to https://www.ornafish.com/auction/ and make sure you are logged in. Only Ornafish Customers/Agents have a login, if you are a hobbyist please contact your dealer to place your bids.
2. All koi in the auction are subject to ship by the end of May 2018. Azukari is not possible for these Koi.
3. Your bid will be for the Koi only. If you win the Koi in the auction no commission will be add on top, however Freight and other shipping costs will come on top of your final bid. By participating in this auction you automatically agree to this.
4. If the box contains more than 1 koi, your bid will be for all the koi in the box, and not for each individual koi.
5. If you bid once, then the price of the koi will be raised by 1000 Yen each time. However you also have the possibility to bid a larger amount, for example 10.000 Yen at once. The price for the koi will then be raised with the current bid. Example; the price is 5000 Yen, your bid is 10.000 Yen then the price for the koi will change to 10.000 Yen.
6. Always confirm your bid. (click “Place Bid” and confirm)
7. When your bid has been overbid, you will receive an email notification, and at the same time the website will be updated.
8. Every time a bid is raised, 10 seconds before the auction ends, the auction will be extended by 5 Minutes.
9. As this is a charity auction we cannot be held responsible for DOA or damaged fish. However we will pack the fish very carefully and super safe for shipping.

Dear Customer,

For more than 20 years Ojiya and Nagaoka have been our hometown, and we thought it was the highest time to give something back to this great region.

After several brainstorm and discussions with organisations we choose to support the Ojiya Public Special Support school for disabled children.

So why this school, why this organisation? Well, first of all because this school has only been established in 2015, and it needs all the support it can get. The school is suffering from limited budgets and aging equipment, with which they have to work. At this moment there are 35 students and this number is growing. The school enables these “special” kids to have a good education and prepares them for a roll in the society. They are proud that every year 5 to 10 students graduate and find a job, mainly in workshops where handicap people work. But indeed, that last fact is very important, and that’s why we want to help them with our support. Hopefully this will make a difference in the life of these kids!

So in May we are gone hold an Auction which will only be accessible for our TRADE customers, where about 50 Niigata based breeders will donate one of their best koi. This can be a Tosai, Nisai or older Koi, that is up to them.

All Koi are subject to be shipped out of Japan after the auction and will not be held for Azukari or Show purposes.

Hobbyists are welcome to place a bid through their dealer.

We as Ornafish will add JPY 1.000.000 to the total amount of this auction. Then the total budget will be presented to the school in Autumn 2018. We will control the budget and provide the school with what they are in need of.

We are getting support from Companies as Hikari Koi Food, Aquadistri BV, Inspira BE and more. Of course we will provide a total list of all sponsors and breeders soon. Also companies who would like to donate or support in any way are welcome.
